Client Overview:

The project is designed for office workers, freelancers, and students who spend most of their time sitting in front of a computer screen. The extension is intended to be used alongside web browsers on Windows, macOS, and Linux. The targeted audience is tech-savvy individuals who want to improve their wellbeing without having to interrupt their work.

Challenges:

One of the main challenges was creating an extension that could remind users to take breaks without being intrusive or interrupting their work. It also had to cater to users' different preferences by providing customization options.

Since various people have different work styles, we needed to ensure that the extension was flexible enough to account for those differences. We also aimed to make the extension adaptable, in case of any obstacles encountered.

Solution:

After thorough research and analysis, we created a minimalistic and easy-to-use extension that provides several customization options, such as the frequency of reminders, sound preferences, and break length.

The extension sends notifications reminding users to take healthy breaks, stretching their muscles, getting up, or completing simple exercises. The extension also tracks how long the user has been working without taking a break, providing a continuous record for the user's benefit.
